The Audit of Profile Changes feature allows you to track all modifications made to employee profiles in your account. It provides a detailed, time-stamped history of who changed what, when, and how, helping you maintain full transparency and control over your HR data.

You can find this section in Configuration → Changes audit.
It is available for users of the Core HR module.

Why this is useful

  • Accountability – See exactly who made each change.

  • Data accuracy – Quickly identify and correct incorrect updates.

  • Compliance – Keep a reliable record for audits and internal reviews.

  • Collaboration – Coordinate better when multiple people manage employee data.

How it works

The audit log displays a chronological list of all profile changes. Each row contains the following information:

Column

Description

Date and Time

When the change was made.

In Profile

The employee profile that was updated.

Field

The specific field that was changed (e.g., Last name, Role, Email).

Before the Change

The previous value stored in the system.

After the Change

The new value after the update.

Changed by

The user who made the change.

Filters

You can refine the view using filters at the top of the page:

  • In profile – Show changes for a specific employee.

  • Field – Filter by a specific field (e.g., Email, Role, Direct manager).

  • Changing – Filter by who made the changes.

  • Date – View changes within a specific date range.

This helps you quickly find the exact change you’re looking for, even in a long history of updates.

Remember: only Admins can access the audit history.
