What is a Performance Review session?

If your company uses the Calamari Performance module, you may be invited to participate in various performance reviews as either a manager or an employee.

The performance review session can be started by the Administrators or Performance Administrators on your Calamari account.

As an employee, you may need to add your feedback for your peers or complete a self-assessment.

When a new session starts in Calamari, you will see it in the Review sessions tab. You will receive in-app notifications or email notifications. Learn more about notifications in Calamari: How to turn on/off personal notifications

Review sessions

Go to Performance → Review sessions. The Review Sessions tab lists all ongoing sessions you can participate in. You can also filter sessions by status: active or ended.

What can you do in Review sessions?

  • Add self-review feedback

  • Add peer feedback for a colleague if:

    • You were assigned as a reviewer by your manager, or

    • The Performance administrator enabled voluntary peer feedback option.

  • Check the deadlines for self and peer feedback and final evaluation.

Tip: You can also save your feedback form as a draft and submit it later.

Feedback

Go to Performance → Feedback. This tab contains feedback tasks and results. Here, you can see a few sections depending on your permissions:

  • To complete – this section shows feedback you still need to submit. For each item, you can see: review session name, feedback type (self/peer).

  • To evaluate – if you're a direct manager, you may be asked to add Final evaluation. This is your feedback based on self or/and peer review of your subordinate.

  • Received – this section shows feedback you have received from your manager.
