How to reset a password for an employee?

How to reset the password

If an employee doesn’t remember their password, please follow these steps:

1. Go to Configuration → People

2. Choose the employee from the list → click "Reset Password"

Remember: employees can also reset their passwords on their own using the Forgot password option on the login page.


You can simply share this article with them so they can follow the steps themselves.

If the employee didn’t receive the reset email (or the invitation email)

  1. Ask the employee to check:

    • Spam / Junk / Promotions folders

    • whether their mailbox has any filters/rules that could redirect or block automated emails

  2. Verify the email address in Calamari:

    • Go to Configuration → People

    • Open the employee profile and confirm the email address is correct (no typos, old domain, extra spaces)

  3. Send the email again:

    • Use Reset password again (for password reset), or

    • Re-send the invitation (if they haven’t activated the account yet)
