Auto-closing feature

Calamari analyses all the shifts of your employees. At midnight (according to employee's time zone settings) Calamari automatically stops employee's working day and sends a notification to the employee that they forgot to clock out.

What happens when an employee forgets to clock out?

Calamari stops the working day timer and marks the stop time as "?" question mark:

The employee needs to edit their shift by adding the clock-out hour. If employees cannot edit their Timesheet, their managers or admins should edit their Timesheet on their behalf.

Managers and admins can check in the Activities Report how many and which days were automatically closed:

How do I turn it off?

Please open Configuration Auto clock out → Click on the green button.

The button will turn grey, and this means that the auto-closing feature is turned off.
