How to configure KIOSK - the QR code/NFC method?

After downloading the Calamari Kiosk app, you need to set up your QR terminal. You can do this in the mobile app or the web app.

Configuration in the mobile app

  1. Open Calamari Kiosk app → Login

  2. As Admin, fill in your company domain, email and password → Login

  3. Click Settings

  4. Here you decide on:

    • taking a picture before clocking in/out

    • screen saver

    • the camera you would like to use to scan QR codes

    • sounds during scanning

    • time limit for selecting an action

    • use of NFC for tracking working hours

6. Start scanning

Configuration in the web app

1. Go to ConfigurationMethods

2. Enable Kiosk →Configure

3. Type the name of the terminal and decide on:

  • taking a picture before clocking in/out

  • the camera you would like to use to scan QR codes

  • screen saver

  • use of NFC for tracking working hours

  • availability (you can assign access to QR terminal to a particular employee or team)

4. Save the changes

5. Open Calamari Kiosk application and log in as Admin

6. Choose the appropriate Terminal from the list and click Start scanning
