Calamari allows you to synchronize its calendar with any external calendar you use, such as MS Outlook, Apple Calendar, and more. This integration is facilitated by iCal. Calamari generates a URL or .ics file in the iCalendar format, which you can add to your external calendar. The external calendar then automatically updates with any changes from Calamari, keeping your schedule synchronized across all platforms.
The guide below explains how to generate the URL link that you can use to add Calamari calendar to your calendar:
1. Go to: User profile → Calendar subscription
You'll see there a default Calamari Calendar - the very same as you can see in Calamari in the Calendar tab.
2. To add a new calendar, please click the Add button.
During the creation process, you'll have the option to select which events will be visible, such as your own, your subordinates', or your organization's events.
You can also choose the types of events users can see, including holidays, birthdays, remote work, and more.
3. Once your calendar is set up, simply copy the URL address and paste it into your external calendar. And just like that, you're all set!
Please remember that you can freely edit or delete calendars that you have created.
Synchronization frequency
Outlook: According to Microsoft, updates might take over 24 hours to reflect. However, in practice, they usually sync approximately every 3 hours.
Google: Per Google's documentation, changes to your Google Calendar could take up to 12 hours to appear.
Mac: For Mac users, the frequency of refresh is determined by the user when adding a calendar subscription.
