If you need to create an absence type that is only available to certain employees, follow these steps:
Go to → Configuration → Absence Types
Add a new leave type or edit an existing one, adjusting the parameters to fit your needs
Go to the "Accrual" tab and click "Restricted to/Change"
Select the employees who should have access to this leave type
When to use restricted absence types?
Restricting absence types to specific employees is useful in many scenarios, such as:

✅ Country-specific leave policies – If employees in different locations have different leave entitlements
