Who is a substitute

A substitute is a person who will take over your responsibilities during your absence. We've added an additional field to the time-off request; it allows you to select your colleague as the substitute. If you are a manager, the substitute will be able to approve or reject requests during your absence. When your absence is over, all pending requests will revert back to your 'Approval' tab.

Notifications

You can set a notification that you have been appointed as a deputy. In order to do that, click your avatar (bottom-left corner of the screen) → Notifications:

Other employees will be able to see if there is a deputy on the Calendar screen:
